You: Tall. Gorgeous. Sophisticated. 20-something. Brunette.

Me: Awesome black slightly offroad-ified Jeep.

Hi.

I feel like you might remember me. We locked eyes as I passed you on the sidewalk. As I turned into a narrow alleyway, I glanced into my rear view mirror; and your gaze held fast. Next, I drove into the side of a building.

Let’s get coffee some time. If you see this, tell me what building I hit to let me know it’s you.

P.S. You should probably drive.

    when was this….

  2. #2 by Donk on February 27, 2010 - 3:35 pm

No, lauren. She was much taller than you.

  3. #3 by Floozy on February 27, 2010 - 7:35 pm

Hahahahaha… shame you didn’t have a missed connection with that building.
BTW if you would like some remedial driving lessons, I would be happy take you out in the STI and show you how it’s done… but brown boxer shorts may be advisable.

    @3
Please yes, but I want to drive too. I’ve got an amazing lap around town. It’s about 22 miles of curves. I desperately need to get another coupe.

I have seen the Jeep in question since it kissed the building while Donk dreamed of kissing her. The car and the man share a similiar style: worn and haggard but altogether still kicking ass. Good luck finding her. (PS. Donk drove me home safely yesterday…no fear!)

  6. #6 by Loki on March 1, 2010 - 11:42 am

Maybe Donk and I can pick up girls in it if you drive Flooz.

  7. #7 by Floozy on March 1, 2010 - 3:52 pm

I will drive your blue-balls around Loki…just say the word.

it was totally me, and the building you describe has four walls and is sturdy.

  12. #12 by rhymes with orange on March 2, 2010 - 5:17 pm

I know! WTF. I keep wondering when it’s going to show up.

  13. #13 by belmont yo on March 2, 2010 - 7:35 pm

It was there for a good hour or so, then simultaneously when he commented, yours disappeared. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist…

In other items, I am back at work and as such, bored as fuck. Where do all the cool kids hang out on the interwebs these days? Did you fuckers all manage to get lives or interesting non digital jobs or something? Bastards. Dont make start having to generate my own content.

/here I am now, entertain me.

Well I posted it again. I think I’ve been shitlisted by Ian, The IT God.

The book of faces is an anathema to me lately for some reason, prolly cause my kids and mum are friends on it. I made one dumb ambiguous comment about 3 months ago and it lead to an intervention. Nevar again.

So should I write? Go back to posting fake CL personals? Read fark and SE all day? Troll the newsplex and hook boards? It seems I have fallen into a chasm of indecision and apathy…

For an infinite and ever expanding medium, the tubes sure have been a let down lately. Except for the pr0n, but even that gets old tho…

    le sigh.

  19. #19 by shenanigans on March 3, 2010 - 11:04 am

You should make up some fake personal ads on CL then post them here for us to see, complete with ridiculous responses

I just dug up some old ones, I’ll post them as a topic, if thats ok, as they are a bit long for a comment.

A Charlottesville gas station will have to undergo repairs after a car ran into a window.

A car bumped into a window at the Shell station at Fifth Street in Charlottesville near the Interstate-64 interchange. It also destroyed a newspaper box.

No injuries have been reported and the station remains open. There is no indication yet how or why the driver crashed into the building.

Hah. A convincing copycat crime, but not me. The building in question didn’t take on any significant damage. It barely even took on paint. The Jeep however, took on a disfigured bumper and smashed fender.

Fortunately, I already received my new bumper ($30 shipped) and did the bodywork to fix the fender myself the subsequent night. Yet again, I continue to fail to find repercussions for the stupid things that I do.
