A few of our intrepid TXTNLY writers presented stories at the last Secretly Y’all at Random Row Books. There are now podcasts up for either download or online streaming. I encourage you to check them both out, as well as the whole thing the girls at Secretly Y’all are organizing. It is a very cool idea.

Unbelievably, that’s actually my ’slow’ speaking voice. I’ve got to learn to take it down a few notches further. I also need to learn how to not read the entire thing like a script.
That being said, the event was incredibly fun and despite my nerves, I had an awesome time up there. I’m definitely going to participate again.

Oh! And another shoutout to b yo and Lauren’s boyfriend. They agreed to take on speaking roles in my story, and gave me the opportunity to yell at the audience.
