1. Vacation was crazy worth it. When the cops get called to your beach house, you have achieved something really special.

2. Yes. Tons of work (and not an insignificant amount of $$) to get where we were. However, life has proven super busy and the blogworld is one of the first places to get bumped to the wayside when the meth lab needs a little extra love.

3. I know that things aren’t exactly hopping around here, and it would be nice to get back to a solid daily comment-palooza, but I find that the blog pays like six figures less than my other job… and that other job wants a LOT of my time right now. Priorities and shit, ya know?

So… I’m all for this place becoming everyone’s favorite timesink again, but it may have to happen without me putting in quite so many hours each week. I’ve learned that running a blog is about ten times more work than I could’ve expected. Also, it’s tricky to run a snarky blog in such a small town. We’ve had some pretty awesome/hilarious articles waiting in the wings, but they didn’t see daylight because we don’t really want anyone hunting us down and killing us. If you think that’s hyperbole… you don’t understand how awesome that article was.

Anyway… I guess I can just ask that you guys stick around for a bit longer? I can’t expect you to as there hasn’t been much happening in the last couple of weeks. I really will try to get a weekend preview up this week, but that’s going to require me making some much needed adjustments to my personal time.

Also, thanks for commenting. I suspected that you might be out there lurking, but it’s good to know that we’ve still got some of the old school faithful out there.
